Upcoming Pro Bono Events
by Aleed Rivera

Thanks to all of the volunteers who participated in the uncontested divorce clinic and estate planning clinic in May 2017.  We have many volunteer opportunities available for the Fall of 2017 for attorneys, paralegals and law students.  If you would like to get involved in the Tarrant County community and would like to make a difference in the legal profession, please join us!

Contact the Tarrant County Bar Association and ask for Aleed Rivera, Interim Pro Bono Programs Director for more information about volunteering.

TVAS thanks the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas for underwriting this feature of its website through a grant to the Tarrant County Bar Foundation.

Please note that TVAS does not employ staff attorneys to accept cases. Instead, TVAS relies on volunteers and connects individuals with volunteer attorneys through its clinics and other programs.  Applicants must be approved under TVAS's financial and program guidelines before receiving pro bono assistance through the program.

We do not provide names or refer pro-bono attorneys outside of scheduled clinics and programs .
