Upcoming Pro Bono Events
by Aleed Rivera

Thanks to all of the volunteers who participated in the uncontested divorce clinic and estate planning clinic in May 2017.  We have many volunteer opportunities available for the Fall of 2017 for attorneys, paralegals and law students.  If you would like to get involved in the Tarrant County community and would like to make a difference in the legal profession, please join us!

Contact the Tarrant County Bar Association and ask for Aleed Rivera, Interim Pro Bono Programs Director for more information about volunteering.

Upcoming Clinics:
  • TVAS will take information about clients interested in wills and other estate planning documents based upon availability of volunteer attorneys the client can be assigned an attorney to prepare the documents during the Fall 2017.
  • TVAS will hold an uncontested divorce clinic in September 2017.
  • TVAS in collaboration with other community partners is expected to hold a expunction clinic in October 2017.
  • TVAS will have consultation only  and wills clinics during the months of August and October for individuals receiving services through certain non-profits in Tarrant County.
